  • Publication number: 20110033985
Abstract: An integrated circuit package that comprises a lead frame, an integrated circuit located on the lead frame and a shunt resistor coupled to the lead frame and to the integrated circuit. The shunt resistor has a lower temperature coefficient of resistance than the lead frame, and the lead frame has a lower resistivity than the shunt resistor. The shunt resistor has a low-resistance coupling to external leads of the lead frame, or, the shunt resistor has its own integrated external leads.
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 25, 2010
    Publication date: February 10, 2011
    Applicant: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INCORPORATED
Inventors: Ubol Udompanyavit, Sreenivasan K. Koduri, Gerald W. Steele, Jason Marc Cole, Steven Kummerl

  • Patent number: 6486152
Abstract: A therapeutic formulation comprises a topically acceptable semisolid vehicle and carbamazepine, the vehicle consisting of components that are compatible with the carbamazepine, and the carbamazepine being in a concentration sufficient to permit a therapeutically effective amount of the carbamazepine to be absorbed from the formulation into the skin of a patient. The vehicle may be a cream, ointment, or gel. A method of treating a skin condition of a patient such as psoriasis comprises applying carbamazepine topically to the patient's skin until the condition improves. A method of administering carbamazepine to a patient comprises applying a formulation comprising carbamazepine topically to the patient's skin.

  • Patent number: 4295950
Abstract: An electrodialysis cell and process for desalination of aqueous brine with concomitant improved production of chlor-alkali, using a novel porous structure, the interconnected micro-pores of which are filled with an alkali metal amalgam, which may function as a cathode or as a cation permeable diaphragm, and using a saturated metal chloride aqueous solution as anolyte.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 5, 1980
Date of Patent: October 20, 1981
    Inventor: Marc Cole
  • Patent number: 4046654
Abstract: Desalination process associated with chlor-alkali production in an electrolytic cell having a diaphragm structure comprising an immobilized liquid alkali metal amalgam.

  • Patent number: 3963567
Abstract: Sea water is deionized with simultaneous production of caustic soda, chlorine, and hydrogen by a novel electrodialysis process wherein sodium and chlorine ions are separated from said sea water, and said ions, while separated from each other, are electrically discharged.
