Abstract: Method for installation and replacement of a membrane and system for retaining membrane on a structure. A connecting member comprises at least one radial channel for receiving a first guiding strip of a membrane sheet further having a second guiding strip. A fastening mechanism is provided for adjusting tension in the sheet by controlling depth at which the connecting member is maintained within a top channel on a truss of the structure. The tension may be adjusted by applying torque to bolted screws maintaining the connecting member into the top channel. Replacing the membrane sheet under tension involves unfastening, at least partially, the connecting member from the top channel to remove tension in the sheet and removing the sheet to be replaced from the connecting member and a second connecting member maintained on another truss.

Abstract: A sealing joint for a window assembly is including a screen and a window pane covering the screen is provided. The sealing joint includes an actuator for positioning the window pane between the open and closed positions, a plate mounted to the window assembly, the plate lying substantially in the plane of the screen, the plate comprising an opening. The sealing member also includes a sealing member being sized and shaped so as to cover the opening, the sealing member being adapted to slide over the plate while maintaining contact therewith and continuing to cover the opening. The sealing member includes an aperture being shaped and sized so as to receive the actuator therewithin. The actuator extends through the opening and the aperture. A window assembly comprising the sealing joint and a kit for a sealing joint are also provided.

Abstract: A hybrid greenhouse comprising a base for installing the hybrid greenhouse on a surface, a space frame delimiting side faces and a top face for enclosing a space above the surface, at least one retractable transparent screen for at least partially shielding the space from the elements when extended, and a netting for preventing entry of insects into the space while allowing air to flow therethrough. The space frame is anchored to the base. The retractable transparent screen is retractably mounted to the space frame. The netting is mounted to the space frame for completely enclosing the space. The at least one retractable transparent screen is mounted between the removable netting and the space.

Abstract: Systems for supplying emergency oxygen or other gases to persons are addressed. The systems may include pod assemblies mounted on fixed-position masts between or adjacent passenger seats or pop-up modules installed within upper portions of seat backs. The pod assemblies and pop-up modules additionally may include other passenger-service equipment. Also optionally included in the systems are modular central gas supplies and alternative oxygen mask designs for passengers.
