  • Patent number: 11951258
Abstract: A patient interface includes a plenum chamber pressurisable to a therapeutic pressure, and a seal-forming structure constructed and arranged to seal with a region of a patient's face surrounding an entrance to a patient's airways. The seal-forming structure is constructed and arranged to maintain the therapeutic pressure in the plenum chamber throughout a patient's respiratory cycle in use. The patient interface also includes a positioning and stabilizing structure configured to hold the seal-forming structure in a therapeutically effective position on a patients head. The positioning and stabilizing structure includes a rear strap arranged to contact an occiput of the patient's head. The rear strap is constructed from a first material is arranged to contact a temporal region of the patient's head, and a second material arranged to contact the occiput of the patients head. The second material is silicone.

  • Publication number: 20240091924
Abstract: An example hydraulic tool includes: a fluid reservoir; a pump; an electric motor; a cylinder; a piston; a first trigger button; a second trigger button; and a controller configured to perform operations comprising: receiving a first signal when the first trigger button is triggered, responsively, causing the electric motor to rotate in a first rotational direction, thereby: (i) causing the pump to provide fluid to the cylinder, and (ii) causing the piston to move in a first linear direction, thereafter, receiving a second signal when the second trigger button is triggered, and responsively to the second signal, causing the electric motor to rotate in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction, thereby: (i) opening a fluid path from the cylinder to the fluid reservoir, and (ii) causing the piston to move in a second linear direction opposite the first linear direction.

  • Publication number: 20230257443
Abstract: This invention relates to an immunoresponsive cell comprising a chimeric NKG2D protein. The immunoresponsive cell is a T-cell, natural killer (NK) cell, macrophage or neutrophil and the chimeric NKG2D protein comprises a human NKG2D extracellular domain or a variant thereof, and a murine NKG2D transmembrane domain or a variant thereof. The disclosure also relates to isolated polynucleotide(s) encoding the chimeric NKG2D protein and the use of the immunoresponsive cells or isolated polynucleotides in therapy or the treatment of cancer.

  • Publication number: 20220332788
Abstract: This invention relates to fusion polypeptides comprising a DNAX-activating protein 10 (DAP10) polypeptide and a DNAX-activating protein 12 (DAP12) polypeptide. The disclosure also relates to cells comprising such fusion proteins and their use in treating cancer.

  • Patent number: 9050240
Abstract: An adult toy, such as a phallus-shaped vibrator, has a hollow core, a tip coupled to an end of the core and a handle containing a control interface allowing user control of the vibrator. The handle, which is coupled to the core at a distal end to the tip, houses a peristaltic pump that engages a flexible pipe network. The hollow core incorporates an access door that, when opened, allows loading of a reservoir cartridge into an internal compartment of the core. Under selective microprocessor control, the peristaltic pump spins its rotor assembly to engage and squeeze part of the pipe network. This squeezing effect encourages lubricant, liquid hormonal stimulant or other chemical solutions to exit the cartridge and controllably flow through the pipe network. With ejection of lubricant from the cartridge, the internal volume of the cartridge decreases.

  • Patent number: 8719870
Abstract: A computer system includes a touch-screen display that displays an electronic program guide to a user. The EPG includes a list of television programs scheduled to be shown at a current time as well as a timeline and an indicator. The television programs in the EPG have a substantially fixed size, independent of the program duration. The user can adjust the relevant time in the EPG by manipulating the timeline and the indicator so that they slide relative to one another. The EPG is updated to include a list of television programs at a new time according to the new position of the indicator on the timeline. A selectable icon is provided to enable the user to return the EPG to a current time.
