Abstract: A marketplace server and method for facilitating purchase transactions are provided. A marketplace server may include a routing engine configured to receive an order for goods from a first computing device associated with a first customer, with the order including a first delivery address of the customer. The routing engine also calculates a delivery route to the first delivery address. An offer engine is configured to create an offer for other goods. The offer includes a shipping incentive associated with a second delivery address of a second customer. The offer may be targeted to the second customer based on a proximity of the second delivery address to the delivery route. The offer engine sends the offer to a second computing device associated with the second customer. Upon receiving an acceptance of the offer from the computing device, the offer engine processes a purchase transaction for the offer.

Abstract: Systems and methods for pre-caching information on mobile computing devices. The system and method include, based upon spatial information or temporal information associated with a user of a mobile computing device, detecting the occurrence of a first user event that precedes an associated second user event that will occur at a known time. The method and system further include identifying information corresponding to the associated second user event that will occur at the known time. The method and system also include, in response to detecting the occurrence of the first user event, transmitting to the mobile computing device the information corresponding to the associated second user event that will occur at the known time.

Abstract: An online article is enhanced by displaying, in association with the article, supplemental content that includes entities that are extracted from the article and/or entities that are related to entities that are extracted from the article. The supplemental content further includes information about each of the entities. The information about an entity may be obtained by searching for the entity in one or more searchable repositories of data. For example, the supplemental content may include, for each entity, video, image, web, and/or news search results. The supplemental content may further include information such as stock quotes, abstracts, maps, scores, and so on. The entities are selected using a variety of analyses and ranking techniques based on contextual factors such as user-specific information, time-sensitive popularity trends, grammatical features, search result quality, and so on. The entities may further be selected for purposes such as generating ad-based revenue.

Abstract: A method of fabricating an integrated circuit including a first region and a second region each having different poly-silicon gate structures is provided. The method includes depositing a first poly-silicon layer over the first and the second region and depositing, within the second region, an oxide layer over the first poly-silicon layer. A second poly-silicon layer is deposited over the first poly-silicon layer and the oxide region. A portion of the second poly-silicon layer that lies over the oxide region is then stripped away.

A request is received for the determination of a personalized distance over a network, wherein the request comprises an identification of a requesting user, and a plurality of real world entities comprising at least a starting location and an ending location. At least one route is determined between the first location and the second location. Spatial, temporal, topical, and social data available to the network relating to the requesting user and each real world entity and the route is retrieved using a global index of data available to the network. A personalized distance is calculated via the network between the first location and the second location using spatial, temporal, topical, and social data relating to the requesting user and each real world entity and the route. A representation of the personalized distance calculated for the route is displayed on a display medium.

As described, the wordline protection structure includes a polysilicon structure formed adjacent to a memory core region. The polysilicon structure includes first doped region positioned on a core side of the polysilicon structure and a second doped region positioned on a spine side of the polysilicon structure. An un-doped region positioned between the first and second doped regions. A conductive layer is formed on top of the polysilicon structure and arranged so that it does not contact the un-doped region at either the transition between the first doped region and the un-doped region or the second doped region and un-doped region.

A playlist is assembled via the network containing a reference to the media files. The media files on the playlist are transmitted over the network to the requesting device.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present invention relates generally to integrated circuit (IC) packages and more specific to some embodiments of IC power convertor technologies. The multimedia content from the capturing devices are searched based on the interest type of the consuming user. A subset of the multimedia content conforming to the interest type is presented in substantial real-time at the receiving devices of the consuming users. Feedback regarding the presented multimedia content is obtained from consuming users and communicated to the capturing devices in substantial real-time so as to influence future capture of multimedia content.

In one example, there may be several categories of data, and the user may be able to specify who may use the data, and the purpose for which the data may be used. Additionally, a user may be able to see how many of his “friends” (or other contacts) have extended trust to a particular entity, which may aid the user in making a decision about whether to extend trust to that entity. User interfaces may be provided to allow users to specify how their data are to be used.
