Abstract: A method of container virtualization in a processor circuit is provided, wherein the processor circuit operates a host operating system and at least one container in which application software is implemented. The processor circuit operates a logging service of the host operating system independently of the at least one container. The at least one container or the application software is coupled by a data channel to the host operating system. The application software outputs at least one message regarding an operation event of the application software in a first format into the data channel. A conversion unit is operated in the host operating system which receives the at least one message from the data channel and converts it from the first format into a host-specific second format, and transfers the converted message to the logging service for logging of the operation event.
