Abstract: The invention relates to a device (2) for fixing a cup (3) in a bone (21), said device comprising a tubular body (17) extending along a longitudinal axis (A) between a proximal end (18) for co-operating with the cup (3) or a coupling body (9), and a distal end (19) to be fixed in the bone (21), the tubular body (17) defining an inner peripheral surface (24) and an outer peripheral surface (25) provided with screw means. The screw means extend from the proximal end (18) to an intermediate region (27) of the outer peripheral surface (25) arranged at a distance from the proximal (18) and distal (19) ends, and the inner peripheral surface (24) defines a female assembly portion (28) extending from the proximal end (18) in order to co-operate with a male assembly portion of the cup (3) or the coupling body (9).

Abstract: The invention relates to a prosthesis cup (1), in particular for a shoulder prosthesis, comprising a shell (2) substantially in the shape of a hollow spherical cap defining a concave inner surface (3). The shell (2) includes anchoring means which project from the inner surface (3) and are shaped to penetrate a bone and anchor the cup (1) therein. The invention is characterised in that the anchoring means are shaped to trigger the rotation of the cup (1) as they penetrate the bone.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a prosthesis cup (1), particularly a shoulder prosthesis cup, comprising a shell (2) shaped substantially as a hollow spherical cap delimiting a concave inner surface (3), the shell (2) having a coupling stem (4) that extends from this inner surface (3) and is designed to permit coupling of the cup (1) to a fixing element, particularly an anchoring screw (26) or an anchoring pin (13), the cup (1) being characterized in that it additionally comprises anchoring and/or coupling means with a wall (6) which extends from the inner surface (3) of the shell (2) and has a substantially tubular shape and which, together with the coupling stem (4), delimits a recess (8) having what is substantially a ring shape.
