  • Publication number: 20030050511
Abstract: A process is provided for the manufacture of liquid polysulfide polymers. In particular, the process allows for making the liquid form of the polysulfide polymer directly and eliminates the need to first make a solid polysulfide polymer and then convert it to a liquid.

  • Patent number: 6192345
Abstract: A medical progress note documentation system using an organized “language” of codes (a code consisting of at least two letters of the alphabet), that when entered into a programmed processor in a particular arrangement, will generate a descriptive sentence depicting predetermined, frequently used processes in a medical office. Via a predictable, simple and repeatable “language,” a doctor can utilize the base of approximately 350,000 bytes of medical descriptive terminology to construct his/her particular medical progress note. Upon completion of the patient encounter, the doctor proceeds to write a short “code” (at least 2 letters) in the appropriate box on a predesigned form. One the “language” is learned, this process uses approximately 15 to 90 seconds of the doctor's time. The code is then entered into the programmed processor. The descriptive information corresponding to the code is printed, reviewed and signed by the doctor.

  • Patent number: 6067756
Abstract: A space-saving, single-cylinder, room extender, this invention consists of a hydraulic cylinder, electrically powered screw auger or other electrically powered means is nested within an inner structural member that is, in turn, telescopically nested within an central beam. Further, the nested structural members form an integral part of the structure of the expandable room being embedded within the floor of the room, or being embedded within the structural frame of an accessory within the room. Low friction shims hold the inner structural member within the central beam such that lateral motion is minimized while the telescopic motion of central beam relative to the inner structural member is smooth.

  • Patent number: 6052952
Abstract: A system for extending and retracting moveable rooms that expand the useable living space in recreational vehicles and the like. The system includes a pair of hydraulic extension cylinders positioned within the main structural members, each hydraulic extension cylinder powering a double tube arrangement which is combined with a rail assembly. When in the fully retracted position, the moveable floor rests on the stationary floor and is locked in position by a mechanical catch that locks the outer tube of the dual tube arrangement with the rail assembly. When the room is to be extended, the inner tube is advanced under power of the hydraulic cylinders moving the floor outwardly while maintaining it at the same level above the stationary floor. As the inner end of the moveable floor approaches its final position but before lowering, the rear or inner edge of the moveable floor engages a floor support tube that is attached to the outer tube of the dual tube arrangement.
