Upon exerting a force on a portion of the flexible container, a predetermined quantity of cosmetic substance is dispensed from the cavity, through the dispensing mechanism, through the body of the applicator to the external surface of the applicator.

In response to moving the cap body relative to the cap liner in a first direction, the resilient member slidably engages the coupling protrusion and moves to an energized position.
