Abstract: A roof movable between a raised position in which it forms a shelter over a terrace and a lowered position in which it forms a cover over a swimming pool. The roof is mounted on pivotable pillars via hinges. One edge of the roof is supported in the raised position by a winch and cable device for moving the roof assembly between the two positions.
