  • Patent number: 11225064
Abstract: A machine (1) and a method for thermobonding using an emission of electromagnetic waves (13), for example microwaves, to activate one or a plurality of adhesive layers located between a support and one or a plurality of layers of flexible covering, through a bed of particles (4) fluidized by a humidified gas. A multi-layer upholstery item including at least one non-permeable layer and produced in a single operation is also described.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 19, 2015
Date of Patent: January 18, 2022
    Assignee: C-GEX SYSTEM'S
Inventors: Christian Guilhem, Marc Guilhem, Jacques Guilhem
  • Publication number: 20180281653
Abstract: Disclosed is a hygiene accessory for a passenger seat of a passenger-transport device, including a waste container and a unit for hanging from the passenger seat formed by a hanging collar defining an aperture for passing waste. The hanging collar is suitable for being held around a cup-holder opening of a passenger seat and for supporting the waste container, which extends into the cup-holder opening under the aperture for passing waste and is kept concertinaed under the hanging collar prior to use by a temporary attachment suitable for allowing the container to unfold downwardly. Also disclosed is a method for maintaining a passenger-transport device by way of hygiene accessories as disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7857927
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a machine for producing a seam (12) which is not susceptible to coming undone, with at least one interlooped and/or interlaced stitching thread and with stitching passes in or through at least one thickness of the material of an object, called the sewn object (3). The seam (12) is produced with at least one stitching thread having a thermoplastic material at least on its exterior. At least one infrared laser beam (17, 18) is applied locally to the seam (12) on the exterior of the sewn object (3), which laser beam is adapted to soften punctually the thermoplastic material present on the exterior of at least one strand of thread extending on the exterior of the sewn object (3) and adjacent to at least one other strand of thread. An air jet enables mingling of the softened fibers and at least one pressing device (6) is then applied to the softened and mingled thermoplastic material of at least one strand of thread of so as to join punctually the adjacent strands together.
