  • Patent number: 7031227
Abstract: The device for displaying the day of the month comprises a units display member (1) and a tens display member (2) provided one with at least one series of numerals from 0 to 9 and the other with a series of numeral from 0 to 3, these units and tens display members being positioned relative to each other so as to display in the space of a large window two numerals side by side. The units display member (1) is divided into ten sectors or a multiple of ten sectors each carrying a numeral from 0 to 9, the nine sectors (a) separating the numerals 0–1, 1–2; . . . 8–9 having an angular extent equal to ?th of the angular extent of the sectors (b) separating the numerals 9 from the numerals 0.

  • Patent number: 5963511
Abstract: Analogue display timepiece comprising a mechanism for hand setting via direct action of a pull-out piece (4) on an intermediate wheel (10) mobile along a shaft perpendicular to the general plane of the plate (P) of said timepiece between at least one neutral position in which said intermediate wheel (10) is disengaged from a motion-work wheel (20) and a hand setting position in which it meshes with said motion-work wheel (20), said intermediate wheel (10) being moved from one position to the other by translation of a hand setting stem (1) by being drawn at its base (12) by resilient means (15) into the hand setting position and being brought into a neutral position by an arm (7) of the pull-out piece (4) acting directly on the head (11) of the intermediate wheel in order to oppose the resilient means (15).

  • Patent number: 5889738
Abstract: The invention concerns a clockwork movement comprising a lower plate (1) situated on the side of the dial (19), a bridge (2), an upper plate (3) and a rotary shaft (10) which passes through a guiding tube (15) mounted in the bridge (2) and the lower plate (1).The tube (15) has two opposite shoulders (21, 26) which abut respectively against the bridge and the plate to maintain a determined gap between the latter. Three tubes of this type are preferably provided, corresponding to three shafts (10) which may be shafts of chronograph counter hands. At least one of the tubes (15) has an external bearing surface (22) which assures the positioning of a printed circuit board (24).The invention applies to any type of watch, in particular to chronograph watches.
