  • Publication number: 20090308003
Abstract: There is described a stair system insertable into a pool having a top edge surface and bottom surface, comprising a stair portion defining steps and risers each having a fixed height, the stair portion having a support portion projecting from an uppermost one of the risers and adapted to be seated against the top edge surface of the pool, and a ballasted booster positioned below the stair portion at any one of given locations in the bottom of the stair portion and lying against the bottom surface of the pool. The stair system has a height adjustable by the position of the booster with respect to the bottom of the stair portion as a function of the height between the top edge surface and the bottom of the pool.

  • Publication number: 20070079433
Abstract: A hydrotherapy assembly including a connector and a jet device. The connector has a first portion directly connected to a return line port of the swimming pool and a second portion protruding in the pool. The jet device has a water entry port detachably connected to the second portion, an air entry port receiving air, and at least one jet valve. Each jet valve has water and air inlets in fluid communication respectively with the water and air entry ports and an outlet in fluid communication with the water and air inlets and letting through a mixed flow of air and water. The jet device is removable when not in use by detaching the water entry port from the second portion. A hydrotherapy device with a substantially rectangular casing and a method of installing a hydrotherapy device are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6317903
Abstract: A hydro massaging tub is used for massage treatment wherein the treatment is performed by ozone-mixed warm air or water jets distributed adjacent the bottom wall of the tub all about its circumference. Ozone generated by an ozone generator is injected in an air distribution duct to sterilize the air distribution system and help clean the skin of the bather's body. The oxygen liberated in the water and the air improves the quantity of oxygen in the bather's environment so that oxygen intake through the skin and lungs is facilitated. A mobile air jet and section control of the air jets enable the bather to massage selective body areas with adjustable intensity of sections of the massage to achieve a desired effect. In one embodiment, orientable valves are mounted in the air jet holes for adjusting the orientation of the air jets. In another embodiment, optical fibers or light emitting diodes are provided to emit light frequencies in the water turbulence for physiological and therapeutic effects.

  • Patent number: 5829681
Abstract: A spray gun for dispensing two liquids under pressure independently from one another or both simultaneously to form a mixture. The spray gun has a barrel in which are independently displaced two valves which are each spring biased to a closed position. A pair of trigger levers are pivotally secured to a single handle of the spray gun and independently or simultaneously actuable by the fingers of a single hand of the user person whereby to dispense two fluids independently or simultaneously. The valves are mounted coaxially within one another within the barrel of the gun. The valve assembly is easily removed from the barrel of the gun to facilitate servicing and assembly.
