    Abstract: This is a method and apparatus for temporarily securing ropes to trees or other free standing vertical supports, eliminating the need to climb or use a ladder. The method uses a pole mounted yoke in conjunction with two poles. From ground level one can easily secure a rope six feet or more above one's reach. The only height limit is the length of the poles that are used.
