    Abstract: The invention relates to a cable fixture assembly for fastening at least one cable, such as an optical fiber cable, at a cable carrier, such as a housing of a splitter. The cable having a core, a reinforcement cover for protecting the core as well as an outer jacket, wherein the reinforcement cover and the outer jacket are stripped off the core, at least in sections, and the stripped-off reinforcement cover is folded back; as well as the cable carrier, to which the cable is fastened with the fold-back section of the reinforcement cover. Further provided is a method of fastening at least one cable having a core, a reinforcement cover for protecting the core as well as an outer jacket, such as an optical fiber cable, at a cable carrier, such as the housing of a splitter.
