  • Publication number: 20050216912
Abstract: An information handling system image builder server associated with a manufacturer supports remote access by customers through networked communications, such as the Internet, to create images for loading on information handling systems manufactured for the customers. An image creation engine of the server accesses an image library to build an image with image components selected in accordance with customer parameters. The image is built on hardware or virtual test information handling systems interfaced with the image creation engine. Customers may remotely upload custom image components to the library, such as custom applications and settings, and remotely test the operation of the image on the test information handling systems before promoting the built image to a manufacture environment for manufacture of information handling systems with the image.

  • Patent number: 6773326
Abstract: A toy includes a base, a character figure, a simulated chair, and a simulated razor. The simulated chair is positioned on top of the base and is shaped to receive the character figure. The character figure includes simulated hair made from a deformable modeling compound. The simulated razor includes a simulated razor blade and two contacts positioned at the blade. Circuitry connected to these contacts provides a sound simulating the cutting of hair when a portion of the simulated hair provides a conductive path between the two contacts.

  • Patent number: 6729932
Abstract: An illumination toy may be provided having an illuminated polyhedron that may include a base and a plurality of apertured sides extending upwardly from the base. Each apertured side of the illuminated polyhedron may have a plurality of apertures. The illuminated polyhedron may further include an illumination source disposed between the apertured sides such that the illumination source provides simultaneous illumination to all of the plurality of apertured sides. The illumination toy may further include a plurality of translucent pegs, with the apertures of the apertured sides being adapted to receive the translucent pegs and retentively engage the translucent pegs. The illumination toy may also include a plurality of opaque sheets which the apertured sides are adapted to received, with the opaque sheets having indicia thereon corresponding to positions of at least some of the apertures of the apertured sides when the opaque sheets are disposed adjacent the apertured sides.
