At least one array of cylindrical lenses are on the entry and/or exit surface of the first and second substrates. Light exiting the collimator first passes through the at least one array of cylindrical lenses on the first substrate and then through the at least one array of cylindrical lenses on the second substrate. The projection optics include a first array of cylindrical lenses on the first substrate, the cylinder axes of which extend in a first direction, which is horizontal when the lighting device is installed in a vehicle.

An optical element for the lighting device is placed downstream of the reflector element in the beam direction (S). The optical element has different optical properties above the reflective surface of the reflector element.
