  • Publication number: 20220326658
Abstract: A selection and actuation device for at least a first and second function of a watch movement includes a translationally and rotationally movable control stem respectively selecting and actuating at least one of the functions. The control stem occupies at least first, second and third distinct, successive axial positions. An actuating lever bears first and second wheels and pinions. The actuating lever occupies a neutral position when the control stem is in one of its first and third positions, and pivots, on either side of the neutral position, between a first driving position actuating the first function responsive to control stem rotation in a first direction, and a second driving position actuating the second function responsive to a control stem rotation in a second direction. Also disclosed is a movement including such a selection and actuation device as well as to a timepiece including such a movement.

  • Patent number: 5742061
Abstract: An ionizing radiation detector having an enclosure filled with a rare gas within which is located a proportional counter. An absorption zone is formed between the counter and the upper wall of the enclosure in which radiation is ionized. The counter has at least one anode and at least one cathode which are parallel to one another and separated by an insulating material layer. The cathode and the insulating material layer have at least one opening in which there is a substantially uniform electric field and which constitutes a multiplication zone for electrons which result from the ionization of the radiation.

  • Patent number: 4629897
Abstract: Proportional detector intended to detect ionizing radiations for 2-dimension localization. This detector consists of a network of conducting wires (2) forming the anodes of an ionization chamber and operating under avalanche conditions and is characterized in that it comprises a continuous resistive collector (12) with two dimensions and located between the anode (2) wires and the cathode (1) on which the localization of an electron avalanche is effected by electrostatic induction, the reading of the data concerning the electric pulse generated by induction on the collector (12) being effected at the periphery of the latter.
