  • Patent number: 11583749
Abstract: The presently claimed invention contemplates a weight rack system comprising a weight rack having a flexible, resilient weight platform configured to receive a weight, a first side wall configured to elevate the weight platform above a surface, a second side wall configured to elevate the weight platform above a surface. The weight platform includes a bump that helps guide a weight being placed onto the platform.

  • Publication number: 20180072433
Abstract: Methods and systems useful during assembly of aircraft are disclosed. One such method comprises loading a fuselage of the aircraft that is unassembled with a wing of the aircraft to obtain a configuration of the fuselage corresponding to when the fuselage is assembled with the wing. The method also comprises calibrating a device of a navigation system of the aircraft when the fuselage is unassembled with the wing and is being loaded to obtain the loaded configuration and, after calibrating the device of the navigation system, assembling the fuselage with the wing.

  • Publication number: 20170284042
Abstract: A plowtector system for extending a snow marker pole over a residential curb. The plowtector system reduces the chance of damage to a curb and/or snow plow when plowing is necessary. A snow marker pole placed within the plowtector system reaches over where the curb starts so that the snow plow operator has a clearer indication of how far to the side they can travel. Should the plowtector system be struck by a snow plow, the system can twist from side to side, reducing the amount of damage that may be caused by such action. The integral components of the plowtector system keep the snow marker in a level position, and bypass the possibility of the snow marker becoming lodged in snow or ice.

  • Publication number: 20140155224
Abstract: Invention to drive the handling of a hockey stick (the Stick Handling) by strengthening the hand's pronator and supinator muscles in order to improve the control, speed, strength and technique for handling a hockey puck. The exerciser primarily use is to isolate the pronation-supination movement so younger and older users, experts and beginners, professional and amateur are able to develop and identify the most accurate gesture to perform perfectly puck dribbling. The flexion-extension of the elbow is a common mistake among hockey players and can therefore be avoided. Thereafter, when the correct movement is well assimilated, the exerciser can be used to improve the movement quality, speed and/or strength.

  • Patent number: 5364501
Abstract: Good deinking of waste paper can be obtained at high consistency by first pulping at high pH, then lowering the pH, adding alkaline cellulase and letting the cellulase act during continued pulping and/or maceration. The improved deinking results in higher whiteness and better cleanliness (fewer ink particles) in paper made from the treated pulp after separation of ink particles. This cellulase treatment results in better operation of certain equipment such as thickeners and in better drainage of the pulp during paper making.

  • Patent number: 4825153
Abstract: In order to minimize the effect of return current flow on a current measuring shunt, the present invention proposes a shunt having a compensation circuit to compensate for the asymmetrical effect of such return currents. Such compensation is provided by two measuring circuits which are to measure the voltage drop across the shunt, and each circuit is located in a median plane of the shunt. The path of each of these measuring circuits is optimized and established in the calibrated configuration of the shunt. These parallel measuring circuits also have their inputs and outputs connected together respectively. Particularly, the present invention relates to shunts having a tubular or rectangular configuration and including such compensation circuits.

  • Patent number: 4743846
Abstract: In order to reduce errors between the measured current by a rectangular shunt and the shunt output signal voltage, such errors being due primarily to skin effect and the proximity of the shunt to the current circuit to be measured, the present invention proposes a shunt having a measuring system which compensates for these error causing effects. The shunt utilizes a measurement circuit following a path which reduces the difference between the potential produced across the shunt and the form of a current which passes therethrough. The path of the measuring circuits starts from the center of the resistive material of the shunt and progresses towards the outer surface of the resistive material in accordance with a function which is non-monotonic and which can even follow a curved path. More particularly, the shunt has a rectangular geometry to permit the maximum heat dissipation which is produced by the shunt in its continuous operating mode under ambient conditions.
