  • Patent number: 12345350
Abstract: A solenoid valve has a valve plunger which is guided in a passage bore of a valve housing. The valve plunger with its valve closing element is held in a basic position by a restoring spring. The basic position opens up a valve passage in a valve seat. The valve plunger is arranged between an inlet and an outlet channel in the valve housing. A magnet armature provides actuation of the valve plunger. An inlet chamber is connected to the inlet channel between the passage bore and the valve seat. The valve plunger protrudes into the inlet chamber by way of a step section. As a result of being hydraulically impinged on by the pressure medium of the inlet channel an axial force is generated on the valve plunger that acts oppositely to the closing direction of the valve plunger.

  • Publication number: 20240400024
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for controlling a hydraulic pressure in at least one wheel brake of a hydraulic motor vehicle braking system, wherein a system pressure is generated by an electrical pressure supply device and, by control of an in particular normally open inlet valve, having an opening current characteristic curve, a required hydraulic pressure, which is lower than the system pressure, is set in the at least one wheel brake. In order to improve the pressure control, provision is made that the inlet valve is opened by application of an opening current, in particular below the opening current characteristic curve, and is switched over from the opening current to an intermediate current on the opening current characteristic curve.

  • Publication number: 20240174210
Abstract: A brake system for a motor vehicle includes hydraulic output ports for activatable wheel brakes. The system includes an electrically actuatable hydraulic pressure source The system also includes a pressure medium reservoir under atmospheric pressure. An electrically activatable inlet valve is connected between each output port and the pressure source. An electrically activatable outlet valve is connected between each outlet port and the pressure medium reservoir Each of the inlet valves is embodied as a 2/2-way valve and in such a manner that the inlet valve can be closed in relation to pressure differences from both directions and can be opened in relation to pressure differences from both directions.

  • Patent number: 11913568
Abstract: A method for determining a switching state of a valve that is actuated by a coil, wherein the method includes: respectively ascertaining a current flowing through the coil and a voltage applied to the coil at several times which follow one another with a prespecified time interval, calculating an inductance variable of the coil based on the currents, the voltage and the time interval, and determining the switching state based on the inductance variable. Also disclosed is a solenoid valve assembly.

  • Patent number: 11648924
Abstract: A brake system, including four hydraulically actuatable wheel brakes. Each wheel brake is assigned in each case one outlet valve which is closed when electrically deenergized. Each wheel brake is assigned in each case one inlet valve which is open when electrically deenergized. The brake system furthermore includes a simulator which is actuatable by a brake pedal, wherein two pressure provision devices are provided for actively building up pressure in the wheel brakes, two brake circuits are hydraulically formed, wherein, in each brake circuit, in each case one pressure provision device is hydraulically connected to two wheel brakes, and wherein two separate on-board electrical systems are provided, and wherein each pressure provision device is fed in each case by one of the two on-board electrical systems.

  • Patent number: 11458942
Abstract: An electromagnetic valve whose inlet and outlet ducts are oriented transversely with respect to the valve holding bore in the valve carrier, wherein the outlet duct opens out, at a distance from the discharge of the filter element, in a portion of the valve holding bore in which the filter element has a closed sleeve portion, in order to achieve a noise reduction through targeted diversion of the flow in the direction of the outlet duct.
