    Abstract: The invention relates to a skin or tissue treatment device or energy delivery device and the associated tip device for contacting skin or tissue. The devices can be advantageously used to treat facial wrinkles, blemishes, or fine lines without damaging the surface of the skin. A number of systems or control systems can be incorporated into the devices to afford manual or automatic control of the energy delivered. In preferred embodiments, microwave range energy is used in the treatments.
