Abstract: Embodiments of light-based enhancing apparatuses and methods of use are described. In one embodiment, the light based-enhancing apparatus may comprise a toothbrush that includes a light source, a head with a plurality of bristles (and/or other materials that may be used to brush a tooth such as, e.g., a sponge, plastic prongs or resilient massaging rods/tips) and a window so that light emitted from the light source can pass through the window. In another embodiment, the light-based enhancing apparatus may comprise a razor or an electric razor that has a head with at least one blade and a light source that is adapted for emitting light proximal to the head of the razor.
