  • Patent number: 12159510
Abstract: Gaming devices, and methods for operating them, are provided that may display an attract mode display that includes one or more bonus markers and a plurality of denomination markers. One of the denomination markers may be highlighted, and a bonus prize associated with a bonus marker and the currently highlighted denomination marker may be determined and displayed in a region of the display associated with that bonus marker. The display may be controlled to display a denomination transition in which the highlighted denomination marker reverts to a non-highlighted representation and the next denomination marker is highlighted. In conjunction therewith, a bonus transition may be displayed in which the bonus prize displayed in association with at least one bonus marker is changed to a bonus prize associated with both that bonus marker and the newly highlighted denomination marker. Such operations may be repeated one or more times, if desired.

  • Publication number: 20240312290
Abstract: An electronic gaming system includes a processor that is configured to display a keno card during a base game. The keno card includes a plurality of player selectable spots, and each spot includes a number. The system receives a player selection of one or more spots. During a random selection of numbered balls, the processor determines whether at least one ball of the plurality of balls includes a feature game trigger. A ball that includes the feature game trigger may be different from other balls produced by the random selection, in that the ball is gold colored (or otherwise visually distinct). If the ball including the feature game trigger matches at least one player selected spot, the processor may mark the player selected spot on the keno card as a matched spot and/or convert the spot to a cash or prize value. A feature game may also be triggered.

  • Patent number: 10916096
Abstract: A gaming system is described that comprises a symbol selector that selects a defined number of symbols from a set of symbols for display in a symbol display area, the set of symbols including at least one special symbol. The system also includes an outcome determiner that determines whether a winning outcome is determined to exist based on the displayed symbols, and a prize allocator that awards a prize if a winning outcome is determined to exist. If a defined condition exists during the game, the system displays visual cue indicia associated with a special symbol at a defined display location. Prior to displaying the selected symbols, the system displays a succession of symbols at the defined display location and subsequently displays a selected symbol at the defined display location. A winning outcome is determined to exist if a special symbol is selected and displayed at the defined display location.
