  • Publication number: 20230291269
Abstract: The invention relates to an electric drive unit (10), in particular for a vehicle or motor vehicle, comprising an electric machine (12) and a transmission (14). The electric machine (12) is accommodated in a drive housing (18), and the transmission (14) is accommodated in a transmission housing (20), wherein the interior (19) of the drive housing (18) and the interior (21) of the transmission housing (20) are separated by a bearing wall (22), and at least one cooling channel (24) for cooling the electric machine (12) is formed on or in the drive housing (18). The electric drive unit (10) has an insert (26) which is designed and arranged such that a cavity (28) is produced in the drive housing (18) between the bearing wall (22) and the insert (26), and the cavity (28) is fluidically connected to the cooling channel (24). The invention also relates to a vehicle comprising a corresponding electric drive unit (10).

  • Patent number: 10364768
Abstract: Method for operating an arrangement for using waste heat of an internal combustion engine, wherein the internal combustion engine has an exhaust gas duct and the arrangement for using waste heat has a circuit conveying a working medium. In the circuit are arranged, in the flow direction of the working medium, a pump, at least one evaporator, an expansion machine and a condenser. The at least one evaporator is also arranged in the exhaust gas duct, wherein in the at least one evaporator an exhaust gas expelled from the internal combustion engine is used as a heat source, and thus the working medium is evaporated in the evaporator. The method according to the invention detects, inside the at least one evaporator, a leakage of the working medium into the exhaust gas duct.

  • Patent number: 9057347
Abstract: A method for determining a characteristic for a pressure regulating valve of an injection system is described, using which fuel is injected into an internal combustion engine, in which a flow of the fuel which flows through the pressure regulating valve is set to a minimum and a control pressure of the fuel is reduced until the pressure regulating valve is opened, and in which at least one value for the characteristic is formed from a difference between a value for the control pressure, at which the pressure regulating valve opens, and a reference value for the control pressure.

  • Patent number: 8899263
Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel injection system having a return line connector, having a return inlet and at least two return outlets. To improve the service life of the fuel injection system, a check valve device, which prevents the passage of a fluid from the return outlets to the return inlet is integrated with the return line connector. A return line connector is provided for each fuel injector in the fuel injection system.
