  • Publication number: 20200156804
Abstract: A method of increasing fuel capacity of a fuel tank. The method includes creating a new filling port in the fuel tank, wherein the new filling port is vertically higher than the original filling port, sealing the original filling port, and installing an expansion tank above a top of the fuel tank, wherein the expansion tank is configured to permit expansion of fuel in the fuel tank beyond a maximum fill level of the fuel tank.

  • Patent number: 10611496
Abstract: A power system for an aircraft includes a plurality of power consumers each operable to consume power in a range from zero to maximum power demand and collectively capable of consuming a combined maximum power demand, a power source operable to output power to the power consumers and a power allocation system operable to allocate power from the power source to the power consumers based on an operational parameter of the aircraft. The power allocated by the power allocation system is less than the combined maximum power demand of the power consumers, thereby allowing the power source to have a maximum power output less than the combined maximum power demand of the power consumers.

  • Publication number: 20190308750
Abstract: A hook system has a mount that includes a first sidewall comprising a concave profile on a longitudinal end of the first sidewall, a second sidewall laterally offset in a fixed location relative to the first sidewall and defining a channel therebetween, the second sidewall having a second concave profile on a longitudinal end of the second sidewall. The hook system also has a first pin structure extending between the first sidewall and the second sidewall and a connector. The connector has a third concave profile, the third concave profile being configured to receive the first pin structure therein. The hook system also includes a second pin structure extending through the connector, wherein each of the first concave profile and the second concave profile are configured to receive the second pin structure therein. The connector is configured to be at least partially received within the channel.

  • Publication number: 20190276157
Abstract: A radial inlet plenum a forward panel, an aft panel, and a cowling extending therebetween. The forward and aft panels are coupled between the cowling and an engine. The forward and aft panels include flexible sections to allow the engine to translate radially and axially, as well as rotate, relative to the cowling.

  • Publication number: 20100000149
Abstract: A tree liner is formed from a composition of a sheet of brown coir to which a latex mixture is applied, preferably by spraying. The tree-liner may be inserted in a wire basket and used to wrap, cover and/or protect the roots of young trees and bushes during the lifting, preparation, packaging and shipping process from the nursery to the final user. The tree-liner comprises approximately 80% coir and 20% latex composition by weight. There is also provided a standalone plant container formed from a sheet of the same coir/latex composition. The composition may also be used for bedding, insulation and other various applications.
