  • Patent number: 9815621
Abstract: An installation for the in-port storage of liquid fuel, which is formed near a dock, is formed of at least an upper surface substantially parallel to the free surface of the sea and a frontal surface adjacent to the upper surface and partially immersed. The installation includes at least one module having a floating caisson containing a fluidtight tank that may contain liquid fuel and having a closed contour formed of an upper face, a lower face, and several lateral faces. The module is fixed to the dock by anchoring means connecting one of the lateral faces of the caisson to the frontal surface of the dock, the lower face and the lateral faces of the caisson therefore being at least partially immersed.

  • Publication number: 20110174698
Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement for fractionating a suspension of fibrous material suitable for creating a web of paper, board, tissue or some other fibrous material into a short fiber fraction with a high proportion of short and/or stiff fibers and/or vessel cells and a long fiber fraction with a high proportion of long and/or flexible fibers, comprising a screen element with screen openings which is taken past at least one nozzle which directs a jet of the fibrous material suspension onto the screen element, wherein the long fiber fraction is collected on the side of the screen element that is facing the nozzle and the short fiber fraction is collected on the opposite side of the screen element.

  • Patent number: 4369741
Abstract: The device comprises a conventional arrangement for opening the decompression valve comprising a manual actuating lever connected to the valve and operative to open the valve in opposition to the action of a return spring which biases the valve to the closing position. A delay device is provided for delaying the return of the valve to the closing position when the actuating lever has been released. The delay device comprises a control member connected to the connection between the actuating lever and the valve and movable substantially in a plane between a first position for opening the valve and a second position for closing the valve.

  • Patent number: 4300489
Abstract: The device is especially intended for a pipe supplying a fluid which must be supplied, simultaneously or alternately, with another fluid. The device comprises a tank for a control fluid which surrounds the vertical supply pipe and in which a permanent magnet moves in accordance with the amount of control fluid contained in the tank. The magnet shifts a valve member inside the supply pipe so that the valve member closes the latter in one of the end positions of the magnet. The magnet is rigid with a float which freely extends around the supply pipe. The device can in particular ensure that fuel is supplied to an engine only if oil is supplied to the latter.

  • Patent number: 4098828
Abstract: Chloromethylisopropylphenois, namely 4-chloro-3-methyl-2-isopropyl phenol, 4-chloro-3-methyl-5-isopropyl phenol and their 6,6'-methylene and 2,2'-methylene bis derivatives, effective as a bactericide and fungicide, especially against staphylococcus, pneumococcus and tricoccus. They are effective in doses as low as 5 ppm, are stable, substantially odor-free and can be readily prepared by conventional chemical reactions to obtain a substantially nontoxic white product.
