Abstract: The luminous device comprises a body made of light-conducting material having a base surface and adjacent side surfaces which enclose an angle relative to the base surface, where at least one LED is located in the body, the main angle of light radiation of which encloses a larger angle relative to the base surface than to the side surfaces so that the light emitted by the LED is propagated in the body and emerges from the body on at least one side surface. The LED is located in a receptacle worked into at least one side surface of the body and is accommodated completely by the body.
