Abstract: A pump for fixing on a receptacle includes: a stationary portion including a pump body; a moving assembly movable relative to the pump body and co-operating therewith to define a variable-volume pump chamber; an opening in the pump body that enables the pump chamber to communicate with the inside of the receptacle and enables the pump to operate in a head-down position; an air intake passage, distinct from the opening, between the stationary portion and the moving assembly; a first lip configured to press in a leaktight manner against the pump body and to prevent communication via the opening between the inside of the receptacle and the pump chamber; and a second lip arranged, at least when the moving assembly is in an end-of-stroke position, to prevent communication through the inside of the pump body and via the opening between the inside of the receptacle and the outside.

Abstract: A conditioning and application assembly includes a container containing a nail varnish composition comprising a cosmetically acceptable medium and at least one thixotropic thickener, with the composition having a viscosity at 25° C. of at least 0.6 Pa·s. An applicator is provided for taking up the product contained in the container and applying it to the nails, with the applicator including a flexible blade defining an application face.

Abstract: An applicator device includes a grasping element, two arms mounted on the grasping element and an applicator between the two arms. The applicator can apply a product in the form of a line onto a surface. The two groups of teeth each include at least two teeth, and the distance between the two groups of teeth is greater than the distance between at least two adjacent teeth in each group of teeth. In addition each group of teeth is supplied with product from at least one product exit opening communicating with the interior of the reservoir. The space between the two groups of teeth is substantially free of teeth or has projections whose average length is smaller than the average length of the teeth in the groups of teeth.

Abstract: The invention concerns a dispensing head including a housing that includes a seating into which emerges at least one product inlet orifice. The dispensing head also includes a dispensing element that is configured to rotate substantially about a lengthwise axis of the seating, that is disposed at least partially in the seating, includes an admission orifice communicating with a dispensing orifice via a delivery channel, and is configured to assume a first position and a second position. The at least one product inlet orifice is surrounded by a sealing relief projecting into the seating. Additionally, the admission orifice communicates with the inlet orifice when the dispensing element is in the first position, and the admission orifice is isolated from the inlet orifice when the dispensing element is in the second position.

The movable system may include a wiper member that includes only one opening through which the applicator element passes while the applicator element is being inserted into the receptacle, the movable system being configured so as to move in a generally unidirectional manner toward a bottom of the receptacle under an effect of a force exerted by the applicator while the applicator is being inserted into the receptacle.

At least one second gap is defined between two teeth of a second pair of teeth, with this second gap having a second height lower than the first height. In a preferred form of the teeth defining the first and second gaps, only the teeth defining the second gap are arranged to hold a lock of hair between them. At least one of the teeth defining the second gap includes a projection extending into this second gap.
