  • Publication number: 20240135012
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for recovering a device (D). The method comprises the steps of acquiring a recovery code with the device (D) to be recovered, matching an inherence factor of a user recovering the device (D) with an inherence factor of a user which is assigned to the device, and allowing a recovery of the device (D) if the inherence factor of the user recovering the device and the inherence factor of the user which is assigned to the device sufficiently matches. A further method is provided which comprises the steps of connecting the device (D) to be recovered to a cloud storage in which a backup of the device is stored, requesting a knowledge factor from the user recovering the device (D), allowing a recovery of the device (D) if the possession factor is correctly inputted into the device (D) to be recovered. Further an App is provided which can be stored on a device, which App contains instructions for carrying out the method.

  • Publication number: 20200054235
Abstract: An MRI image processing and analysis system may identify instances of structure in MRI flow data, e.g., coherency, derive contours and/or clinical markers based on the identified structures. The system may be remotely located from one or more MRI acquisition systems, and perform: perform error detection and/or correction on MRI data sets (e.g., phase error correction, phase aliasing, signal unwrapping, and/or on other artifacts); segmentation; visualization of flow (e.g., velocity, arterial versus venous flow, shunts) superimposed on anatomical structure, quantification; verification; and/or generation of patient specific 4-D flow protocols. An asynchronous command and imaging pipeline allows remote image processing and analysis in a timely and secure manner even with complicated or large 4-D flow MRI data sets.

  • Patent number: 9981289
Abstract: A screening apparatus includes elongate beams and screen panels mounted to the beams to form a broad screening surface. Each of the panels are mounted so that side edges of adjacent panels are in facing relationship. Each panel is mounted to a pair of beams to bridge between two adjacent beams. The panels are mounted to the beams by fixing members. The fixing members have a pair of upstanding rails that are spaced apart to define a longitudinal gap between them. The panels are mounted to the beams by cooperation between the side edges with a rail of a fixing member. Cover strips extend along the beams and include a cover portion and a locking portion. The cover portion bears against an upper surface of a pair of adjacent panels and the locking portion bears against facing surfaces of the rails to resist movement of the rails towards each other.

  • Patent number: 9827597
Abstract: A screening apparatus includes a plurality of spaced apart parallel beams and a plurality of screen panels mounted to the beams to form a planar screening surface. The panels are mounted to the beams by fixing members that extend in the longitudinal direction of the beams and that engage side edges of the panels. The fixing members have a pair of upstanding, longitudinal rails that are spaced apart to define a longitudinal gap between them and the panels are mounted to the beams by engagement between side edges of each panel with a rail of a fixing member. The side edges of each panel include an overhang that overlies an upper end of each rail and that extends into the gap between the rails. The rails and the overhang include locating gaps to receive a locking member to locate panels relative to the fixing members.

  • Patent number: 9803830
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a multi-directional light fixture having a single orientation light source. The multi-directional light fixture includes a light source orientated towards a semi-reflective lens. The semi-reflective lens allows a portion of the light it receives from the light source to be reflected upwards, providing uplight from the light fixture. The lens also allows a portion of the light it receives from the light source to be transmitted therethrough, providing downlight from the light fixture. Thus, the light fixture provides both uplight and downlight while the light source is oriented downwards.

  • Patent number: 9795992
Abstract: A screening apparatus 10, including a plurality of elongate beams 11, a plurality of screen panels 14 mounted to the beams to form a broad screening surface, each of the panels 14 being generally square or rectangular and the panels 14 being mounted adjacent to each other so that facing side edges of adjacent panels 14 are in close facing relationship. Each panel 14 being mounted to a pair of beams 11 along opposite side edges to bridge between two adjacent beams11. The panels 14 being mounted to the beams 11 by elongate fixing members 13 that extend in the longitudinal direction of the beams 11 and that are fixed to an edge of the beams 11 and that engage opposite side edges of the panels 14. The fixing members 13 are fixed to the edges of the beams 11 by projections 24, 25 that are spaced apart longitudinally of the fixing members 13 and that extend into openings 18, 19 provided in the edge of the beams 11.

  • Patent number: 9610614
Abstract: A screen panel 15 for mounting to a vibratory screening apparatus that includes a plurality of beams 11 to which screen panels 15 can be mounted. The screen panel 15 comprises a square or rectangular frame 21 including a pair of spaced apart and parallel side frame members 25 and a pair of spaced apart and parallel end frame members 38 connected to the side frame members 25. The frame 21 defines an upper edge and the side and end frame members define a square or rectangular outwardly facing surface. The frame 21 is connectable to a pair of adjacent beams 11 by connectors 20 that connect with the outwardly facing surface of the side frame members 25. The screen panel 15 also comprises a square or rectangular screen 22 connected to the frame 21 which extends over the upper edge of the frame 21 and forms a square or rectangular skirt 33, 36.

  • Patent number: 9402672
Abstract: A joint distraction device for use in an arthroscopic surgery is provided. The device has a joint distraction mechanism, situated in between two bone fixation surfaces, and is capable of changing the relative distance between these two surfaces. The force generated by the mechanism should be sufficient to insert bone spikes affixed to the surfaces into bone, as well as distract the joint to create a sufficient enough gap to allow the intended procedure. With the surfaces and spikes engaged to bone at opposite sites of a joint, an increase in distraction force results in an increase in the relative distance results, hence increasing the space within the joint. Embodiments of this invention, compared to fracture table approaches, effectively eliminate the risk of pudendal nerve injury, allow for longer surgical times, and allow for much more controllable joint distraction.
