Abstract: This patent discloses a media distribution and marketing system to create a plurality of virtual distribution networks (VDNs) to provide media content to a plurality of subscribers of the VDNs, and provides a method of enhancing the subscriber base of the VDNs. The system delivers content sample packs to subscribers as well as to potential subscribers and provides an opportunity to the potential subscribers to become a member of the VDNs. Moreover, the system may also facilitate an opportunity to subscribers of the VDNs to refer additional subscribers to the VDNs.

Abstract: One or more communications devices in communication forming a calling group. A server associated with the communications devices transmits information to the individual members of the calling group. For example, an incoming information transmission is received from a communications device. The incoming information transmission is recorded in a memory of a server. The incoming information transmission is transmitted to the individual communications devices of the members of a predetermined calling group.
