  • Publication number: 20070095323
Abstract: A device 10 and method for maximizing internal combustion engine horsepower for a preselected RPM range includes a plurality of velocity stacks 12 removably inserted via grommets 16 into apertures 17 in an air box portion 14 of the internal combustion engine while the air box portion 14 is secured to a throttle body portion of the internal combustion engine, and means for measuring power generated by the engine for the preselected RPM range with a selected velocity stack 12 removably secured to the air box portion 14 whereby a velocity stack 12 is ultimately selected that promotes maximum internal combustion engine horsepower for the preselected RPM range.

  • Patent number: 6637787
Abstract: A motorcycle engine cover bumper device (10) includes a road engagement memberr (12) joined to an outer wall (16) of a motorcycle engine cover (18) such that the road engagement member (12) engages a road surface before the motorcycle engine cover (18) thereby preventing damage to the cover when a motorcycle (47) travels around a road bend or during a “controlled crash” when a side portion of the motorcycle slides upon the road surface.
