Abstract: A comprehensive system and method for planning and managing meetings is provided. Preferably, the system and method are available via a communication network to permit multiple clients access to a wide variety of automated, meeting-related services, including online RFPs, registration, research, meeting creation, report generation, event planning, attendee management, marketplace services, community services, and customization. A client accesses a client interface to provide the system with information in response to a request generator. The data is collected from the client, stored in a database, and analyzed by a meeting management program, whereafter arrangements for a proposed meeting are executed according to a client's preferences.
