    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for transmitting user data objects from a data-supplying component or a data server to a telecommunication device of a user via a connection component. The data-supplying component is informed via profile information in a profile object what types of user data objects the connection component or the telecommunication unit is able to process on its own such that the data supplying component can specifically transmit user data objects to the telecommunication device, which belong to the type that the telecommunication device can process. Hence, the data-supplying component is prevented from sending user data objects of a type that has to be converted by the connection component on the transmission path in order to be able to processed by the telecommunication device.
