  • Publication number: 20210033847
Abstract: A micromechanical mirror device, a mirror system, and a method for producing a micromechanical mirror device are disclosed. The mirror device comprises a first mirror element, which is flat, and a second mirror element, which is flat. The first and second mirror elements are arranged substantially plane-parallel. An intermediate space between the first and second mirror elements has a lower index of refraction than one or both of the first mirror element and second mirror element. The first and second mirror elements are locally spaced apart from each other by at least one support structure. The support structure overlaps with the first and second mirror elements in an axial direction, which is perpendicular to the first and second mirror elements. The support structure includes a material that is different from a material from which one or both of the first and second mirror elements are formed.

  • Publication number: 20190240827
Abstract: A manually guided implement possesses a guide tube, wherein a first mass body is disposed on a first end of the guide tube, and a second mass body is disposed on a second end of the guide tube. One of the mass bodies has a housing, and the other of the mass bodies has a tool driven by a drive motor. A power transmission mechanism for driving the tool between the first and second ends of the guide tube is guided in the interior of the guide tube. A first antivibration element is disposed between the first end of the guide tube and the first mass body. The guide tube in the direction of the longitudinal central axis thereof includes a first rigid sub-portion and a second rigid sub-portion that are connected to one another at an abutment location by at least one second antivibration element.

  • Publication number: 20180250804
Abstract: The invention relates to an electrical work apparatus including an apparatus housing having an electric motor for driving a work tool, a control unit for putting the electric motor into operation, a handle housing having at least one handle for guiding the work apparatus, and a receiving cavity, realized in the handle housing, having an insertion opening for a battery pack for operating the electric motor. For the purpose of decoupling the battery pack in respect of vibration, the handle housing, together with the receiving cavity for the battery pack, is decoupled from the apparatus housing via one and the same antivibration element. A vibration gap is realized between the apparatus housing and the handle housing, wherein the antivibration element at least partly bridges the vibration gap.

  • Patent number: 8967101
Abstract: A two-stroke engine has a cylinder wherein a piston is journalled for reciprocating movement. The piston delimits a combustion chamber configured in the cylinder. The engine has an outlet from the combustion chamber and a transfer channel which opens at an inlet opening into the crankcase and at a transfer window in the combustion chamber. The piston drives a crankshaft via a connecting rod. The crankshaft is rotatably journalled in the crankcase. At least one control element for the inlet opening is connected to the crankshaft so as to rotate therewith. The control element is so arranged that the inlet opening is at least partially closed thereby in at least one operating state of the engine during the downward stroke of the piston at least 5° crankshaft angle after the opening of the transfer window.

  • Publication number: 20080035098
Abstract: A portable handheld work apparatus has an internal combustion engine (5) having a cylinder (8) and a crankcase (13). The cylinder (8) has an opening (19) for exhaust gases whereat an exhaust-gas muffler (14) is mounted. The exhaust-gas muffler (14) is mounted on the cylinder (8) at least at one attachment location (40, 41) and at least a further attachment location (42) on the internal combustion engine (5). A reduced weight of the work apparatus and a low mechanical load of the exhaust-gas muffler (14) can be achieved when the exhaust-gas muffler is fixed at at least one of the attachment locations (42) via a connection which permits a limited relative movement between the exhaust-gas muffler (14) and the internal combustion engine (5) in at least one direction.

  • Patent number: 7152853
Abstract: A manually operated implement such as a chain saw, a parting-off grinder or similar device has an internal combustion engine to drive a tool and a handle arrangement to operate the implement. The handle arrangement is connected to the internal combustion engine via a vibration damping system, the vibration damping system comprising at least one anti-vibration element. In order to achieve good vibration damping and sufficient operational rigidity in all operating ranges, in at least one direction of vibration in a predetermined frequency range the anti-vibration element has a first characteristic curve in a first state and a second characteristic curve in a second state and the anti-vibration element can be switched between the first state and the second state.

  • Patent number: 6754249
Abstract: A method for generating polarized laser output radiation utilizes a laser resonator whose active medium exhibits thermally induced birefringence. The radiation fields oscillating in the laser resonator are not subjected to polarization selection, and only the radiation field exhibiting the desired polarization state (p) is partially output. Only a prescribed polarization of the radiation fields of the laser radiation which can oscillate in the resonator can be partially output from the resonator with a prescribed output level and all differently polarized radiation fields remain in the resonator in a completely reflecting fashion.
