Abstract: The invention relates to a weighing assembly (1) for a package handling system (2) for handling individual packages (3), wherein the weighing assembly has: —a sensor unit (4) for acquiring sensor data related to the weight of the individual packages (3), and—an analysis unit (5), wherein system information containing weighing parameters and calibration information related to the weighing parameters is stored in the analysis unit (5), wherein the analysis unit (5) determines weight values for the individual packages (3) from the sensor data on the basis of the weighing parameters, and wherein the analysis unit (5) is designed to transmit the weight values to a control assembly (9) via a data interface (8) of the weighing assembly.
