  • Publication number: 20240091422
Abstract: A renal therapy system is disclosed. In an example, the renal therapy system includes a home renal therapy machine that stores, to a log file, dates of when renal therapies were performed and a type of each renal therapy that was performed. The system also includes a server that receives the log file from the home renal therapy machine. The server compares the dates and types of performed renal therapies stored in the log file to a device program that specifies dates for performing renal therapies and the types of renal therapies to be performed. The server displays a flag in a user interface of a clinician computer when there is a deviation from the comparison.

  • Patent number: 11819596
Abstract: A renal therapy system is disclosed. In an example, the renal therapy system includes a user interface device, such as a tablet computer. The renal therapy system also includes a renal therapy machine configured to perform a renal therapy. The renal therapy machine includes a data transfer interface configured to communicatively couple to the user interface device, a dialysis fluid pump, and a processor that operates a connectivity agent having an activated mode and a deactivated mode. When in the activated mode, the connectivity agent enables the processor to send data related to a performance of the renal therapy to a system hub. In the deactivated mode, the processor is prevented from sending the data to or receiving any data from the system hub. The user interface device is configured to receive data from and send data to the processor regardless of a status of the connectivity agent.

  • Publication number: 20220350923
Abstract: A computer network includes user endpoint devices geographically distributed relative to one another such that at least one of the endpoint devices is subject to a different set of data protection or privacy restrictions than other endpoint devices and data processing facilities coupled to the user endpoint devices over a network. The data processing facilities are in different geographical regions or sovereignties. A computer-based endpoint agent is in each of the endpoint devices. Each endpoint agent is configured to collect telemetry data relating to user activity at its associated endpoint device and transmit the collected telemetry data to a selected one of the data processing facilities, according to an applicable realm definition, in compliance with the data protection or privacy restrictions that apply to the agent's endpoint device.
