    Abstract: The invention concerns an offset printing blanket. The blanket is of the type comprising an outer printing layer, an inner layer whereby the blanket is in contact with a support cylinder and at least one compressible intermediate layer. The blanket is characterized in that it comprises a printing layer (10) whereof the printing surface has very slight surface roughness (Ra) advantageously less than 0.4 micrometer. The invention is useful in the field of offset printing.
