  • Publication number: 20060131175
Abstract: In previously known electrodeposition methods, alloys can be deposited only badly on a substrate from the components thereof. The inventive method allows an alloy layer to be deposited on a substrate by pulsing the current/voltage used for electrode position.
    Type: Application
    Filed: December 16, 2003
    Publication date: June 22, 2006
Inventors: Reiner Anton, Marc Vogelaere, Daniel Kortvelyessy, Ralph Reiche
  • Publication number: 20050224367
Abstract: The prior art involves removing surface regions of a metallic component by means of electrochemical processes. The electrochemical process is accelerated by the use of a current pulse generator (16).
    Type: Application
    Filed: March 12, 2003
    Publication date: October 13, 2005
Inventors: Daniel Kortvelyessy, Ralph Reiche, Jan Steinbach, Marc Vogelaere
  • Patent number: 5846655
Abstract: A layer of silver-metal oxide, a layer of gold or a gold alloy and, a layer of rhodium or ruthenium are electrolytically produced on a metal base, preferably in the form of a wire. The gold alloy is partially diffused into the silver-metal oxide layer by an annealing process at a temperature between 300.degree. and 900.degree. C. As a result, a low-impedance and burn-up resistant contact coated element is provided for employment in weak current relays.
    Type: Grant
