Abstract: A transparent thermoplastic resinous film of at least 10 generally parallel layers in which the contiguous adjacent layers are of diverse transparent thermoplastic material differing in refractive index by at least about 0.03, the planarity of the film being modified so as to reflect non-specular color. Modification of the film can be achieved by co-extruding an outer thermoplastic layer with the multilayer film which outer thermoplastic layer has a solidification temperature lower than the remaining film layers, cooling the film to modify the planarity thereof.
