  • Publication number: 20220340179
Abstract: A maintenance shuttle of modular design for an electric overhead conveyor with a rail system, with a running gear module as well as a maintenance basket module, wherein the running gear module and the maintenance basket module are designed in such a way that the running gear module can be mounted into the rail system of the electric overhead conveyor, the maintenance basket module can be coupled to and decoupled from the running gear module and, in the coupled state, provides protection against falling for an operator, and that the running gear module and the maintenance basket module can be assembled and disassembled at the operating site by an operator by means of manually lockable and releasable bolts.

  • Publication number: 20210347575
Abstract: A transport carriage for transporting objects comprises a chassis which defines a main axis of the transport carriage and is configured to run on a rail system having a first rail and a second rail parallel thereto, and has a first chassis unit for the first rail and a second chassis unit for the second rail and a transport structure for at least one object, the transport structure defining a transport plane. The first chassis unit is coupled to the transport structure in a rotationally fixed manner such that the first chassis unit cannot be tilted relative to the transport plane in the direction of the main axis. The second chassis unit is coupled to the transport structure in a rotatable manner such that the second chassis unit can be tilted relative to the transport plane in the direction of the main axis about a tilt axis.

  • Publication number: 20200399069
Abstract: A damping station for an overhead conveyor system for damping vibrations of cargo, wherein overhead conveyor system cargo can be conveyed suspended from the overhead conveyor system. The damping station includes a vibration detection device designed to generate a signal in accordance with a mechanical vibration state of cargo suspended from the conveyor device, a damping device with a mechanical contact device movable by an actuator, the contact device being designed to enter into mechanical operative connection with cargo suspended from the conveyor device, and a control unit, which is connected at least to the vibration detection device and the damping device, the control unit being designed to actuate the damping device depending on the signal of the vibration detection device such that, by means of the actuator, a force is exerted onto the cargo via the contact device in such a way that a vibration of the cargo is damped.

  • Publication number: 20200055080
Abstract: A method and a device for spray painting a workpiece uses an application device. The workpiece has at least two components that are movable relative to each other which are at least arranged region by region or meshing with each other such that, dependent on the relative position of the components, at least a subregion of one of components is mounted shaded so that the subregion is inaccessible for spray painting by the application device. The method and the device for the spray painting of workpieces, allow a fast, complete and cost-effective painting of a workpiece. One of the components is moved during the spray painting by means of an actuator such that the subregion of the component is displaced so that the subregion is not shaded and is accessible for spray painting by the application device.

  • Publication number: 20190275682
Abstract: A method for handling a wheel which is carried by a spindle in which a robot arm grips the spindle at a robot gripping position and removes same from a transport vehicle. Since the wheel is not directly gripped by the robot arm, damage to the wheel that could be caused by clamping of the robot arm on the wheel is avoided. Preferably, before or during the removal of the spindle from the transport vehicle, a locking element on the transport vehicle releases the spindle.
