Abstract: A radial air bearing device includes a receptable and top and bump foils. The receptacle comprises a first end side, which contains a first depression, and a second end side and also a cutout with an inner wall. The cutout and the inner wall extend between the first and second end sides. The top foil is arranged along the inner wall and includes a first longitudinal side adjacent the first end side and a second longitudinal side adjacent the second end side. The bump foil is arranged between the top foil and the inner wall and includes a first longitudinal side adjacent the first end side and a second longitudinal side adjacent the second end side. At least one foil from the top and bump foils includes a holding lug which is on a longitudinal side, is bent in relation to the first end side, and engages in the first depression.

Abstract: A compressor includes a rotor module (10) which incorporates a compressor wheel (11) and a rotor (12) of an electric motor. The compressor also includes a stator (2) of the electric motor. The rotor module (10) has a hollow shaft (14). The rotor module (10) for the compressor is also included.
