  • Patent number: 7371167
Abstract: There is disclosed a method of determining a result of an electronic game in order to allow fixed odds betting on the result. The method comprises providing a mechanical ball draw machine (3) configured to draw one ball at a time from a set of balls also provided to said mechanical ball machine (3). The set of balls consists of a plurality of subsets of one or more balls, at least some of the subsets having different numbers of balls and each ball being identifiable as belonging to a subset, whereby the relative numbers of balls in the subsets determine the likelihood of a ball from a subset being drawn thus allowing fixed odds betting to be carried out on a result is determined on the basis of subset identity.

  • Patent number: 6666767
Abstract: There is disclosed a method of playing a game. The game is played by a player obtaining from a set of identifiers, at least four elected identifiers, but no more than a maximum number of elected identifiers preset for a given game. The player obtained identifiers are formed into a matrix display. A game controller randomly, and independently elects a group of identifiers from the set of identifiers. The group of identifiers are compared to the matrix display to determine corresponding identifiers in the matrix display before subsequently determining if there are complete identifiers at all intersections along matrix lines. The game controller awards a prize to the player if the number of matrix lines with identifiers at all intersections along matrix lines is one or more.

  • Patent number: 6478676
Abstract: A method of playing a game including a first part and a second part. There are a number of suits and unique identifiers therefor. A player chooses at least one identifier from a suit for a first part and a game controller also chooses one identifier from a suit. The player wins the first part if the at least one identifier elected corresponds to the identifier chosen by the game controller. At the end of the first part, a second part is played by the player electing one identifier for the second part and the game controller choosing an identifier from all identifiers remaining. The player then wins relative to the game controller if the identifier elected corresponds to the identifier chosen by the game controller for the second part. The game lends itself to lottery type game playing including computer game play including game play via the Internet.

  • Publication number: 20020010012
Abstract: There is disclosed a method of playing a game dependent on two parameters of a contest. The game is played by a game controller setting a value of a first parameter prior to commencement of the contest. A player then selects an identifier from a set of identifiers corresponding to all possible values of the second parameter. The value of said second parameter is determined when said first parameter reaches said set value. The identifier from said set of identifiers corresponding to said determined value of said second parameter is then determined and a win is awarded to a player if the player's identifier corresponds to the determined identifier.
