  • Patent number: 11969328
Abstract: A wirelessly powered inflatable medical implant system includes a medical provider software application, a patient external controller and a MR-Conditional, nonferrous pump in reservoir implant. The medical provider software application programs the patient external controller for the patient to transmit wireless power and control signals to circuitry in a pump in reservoir implant. In response, the pump in reservoir implant, containing a fluid reservoir and pump package submerged therein, transfers fluid from the reservoir through tubing, and into one or more inflatable medical implants. Submerging the pump package within the reservoir simplifies surgery in males and pump placement in females and provides pump package heatsinking to limit implant overheating.

  • Publication number: 20230115937
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a system and method for containing a penile prosthesis in a neophallus, to stabilize this device in the neophallus and to give the neophallus additional stiffness in erection. The contained penile prosthesis further resembles a glans at the distal end of the neophallus.

  • Patent number: 10383715
Abstract: A wirelessly controlled inflatable medical implant system includes an external control module and an implantable module. The external control module may transmit wireless power and control signals, which are received by circuitry on a flexible printed circuit board in the implantable module. In response to the received signals, circuitry in the flexible printed circuit board may cause a motor and pump combination to transfer fluid from a reservoir in the implantable device, through tubing, and into inflatable medical implant located in the penis. The flexible printed circuit board, motor, and pump may be placed within the fluid reservoir, which provides a heat sink that prevents overheating of the implant.
