  • Publication number: 20250347425
Abstract: A cooking device, such as a steam oven, may include a cooking cavity, a heating cavity, a separating wall arranged between the cooking cavity and the heating cavity, ventilation openings located at the separating wall, and a controller. A first fan, a second fan, and a heater are arranged, in particular side by side, in the heating cavity. The first fan is positioned and configured to collect air from the cooking cavity and to generate a first airflow interacting with the heater and being conveyed back into a first part of the cooking cavity. The second fan is positioned and configured to collect air from the cooking cavity and to generate a second airflow interacting with the heater and being conveyed back into a second part of the cooking cavity. The controller may be configured to operate the first fan and the second fan independently from each other.

  • Patent number: 11346827
Abstract: An electronic device comprises a gas sensor sensitive to a target gas and arranged inside a housing of the electronic device or attached thereto, to detect a concentration of the target gas in an environment of the electronic device. A processing unit is provided and configured to determine a concentration of the target gas outgassed from one or more components of the housing or inside the housing dependent on one or more first measurement results supplied by the gas sensor in response to one or more first measurements, and to determine the environmental target gas concentration dependent on the determined outgassed target gas concentration and dependent on a second measurement result (ROM) supplied by the gas sensor in response to a second measurement (OM). Outgassing is understood as the release of chemical substances from the one or more components.

  • Patent number: 9990172
Abstract: A wearable electronic device (100) comprises a sensor (1) providing a sensor signal (s1), which sensor (1) is one of a temperature sensor and a humidity sensor. A control unit (3) determines, subject to at least the sensor signal (s1), if the wearable electronic device (100) is worn by a user, and provides an output signal (t1) indicative of a result of the determination.

  • Publication number: 20170038880
Abstract: Electronic device (10) comprising a housing (11) with a fluid-filled cavity (12), the cavity (12) being coupled to the housing (11) such that a pressure in said cavity (12) changes upon application of an external force onto the housing (12). A pressure sensor (13) is arranged for sensing inside said cavity (12) said pressure change and for generating a pressure signal indicative of said pressure change. The device (10) further comprises an evaluation unit (14) for deriving from said pressure signal at least one component of said external force and for generating a force signal that is indicative of said at least one component of said external force and/or for deriving from said pressure signal a deformation of the housing (11) in at least one direction and to generate a force signal that is indicative of said deformation of the housing (11) in at least one direction.
