  • Patent number: 11473681
Abstract: A globe valve (e.g. Flow-To-Open valve) can include an inlet opening with a circular shaped opening cross section defining a valve axis, a globe valve member movable in a vertical direction transversely to the valve axis and connectable, via a valve rod, to an actuator for actuating the globe valve member, and a passage opening with a circular-shaped passage opening cross section. The globe valve member closes the passage opening at a lowest actuating position, in the vertical direction, and a flow channel extending from the inlet opening to the passage opening defines a flow cross section. The surface size of the flow cross section decreases in a first section from the inlet opening, in a flow direction, to a transition point. The flow cross section, in the first section, is continuously oval shaped and the first section of the flow channel is continuously inclined downwards in the vertical direction.

  • Publication number: 20210164817
Abstract: In a method for spatially arranging at least one sensor array in a measuring channel, a predetermined desired geometry of the measuring channel is provided; a desired sensor-array arrangement associated with the desired geometry of the measuring channel is provided, where the sensor-array arrangement includes spatially-defined positioning parameters and orienting parameters in regard to the sensor components; an actual geometry of the measuring channel is captured; it is determined if a positioning parameter or an orienting parameter is outside of an admissible value range in relation to the actual geometry of the measuring channel, and the at least two sensor components of the sensor array are arranged in the measuring channel according to a most-current desired-sensor-array arrangement.

  • Patent number: 9981547
Abstract: A fuel tank of thermoplastic material for motor vehicles comprising at least one line of thermoplastic material, which extends between at least two fixed connection points on the tank wall inside the tank, the fuel tank being distinguished by the fact that the line is supported at at least one location or over at least one portion between its connection points against the force of the weight acting in the fitted position to prevent sagging and that the line is formed and/or routed and/or suspended such that an increase in the length of the line brings about a compensating movement of the line transversely to the direction of the force of the weight.

  • Publication number: 20150210160
Abstract: The invention relates to a fuel tank (1) of thermoplastic material for motor vehicles comprising at least one line of thermoplastic material, which extends between at least two fixed connection points on the tank wall inside the tank, the fuel tank (1) being distinguished by the fact that the line is supported at at least one location or over at least one portion between its connection points against the force of the weight acting in the fitted position to prevent sagging and that the line is formed and/or routed and/or suspended such that an increase in the length of the line brings about a compensating movement of the line transversely to the direction of the force of the weight (FIG. 1).
