  • Publication number: 20260024988
Abstract: An electrical power distribution system supplies electrical power from a battery pack to a DC link. The battery pack includes a plurality of modules. The system includes a plurality of DC-DC converters. Outputs of the DC-DC converters are coupled in series between a first output node and a second output node of the system, such that an output voltage of the system is equal to a sum of output voltages of the DC-DC converters. In use, each of the DC-DC converters is coupled to one of the modules to receive a DC input voltage of a first magnitude from the respective module. Each of the DC-DC converters is operative to generate an output voltage of a second magnitude. The first output node is coupled to a first input terminal of the DC link and the second output node is coupled to a second input terminal of the DC link.

  • Publication number: 20250105689
Abstract: An assembly for cooling a rotor for an electric machine in a housing, wherein the rotor shaft is hollow and supports a coaxial drive shaft such that a radial gap is formed over the length of the rotor shaft between the inner diameter of the rotor shaft and the outer diameter of the drive shaft, wherein a first end of the rotor shaft has a dedicated stationary oil injection sleeve connected to an oil supply in the housing with which oil is injected axially into the radial gap where it is transported toward the second end of the rotor shaft. A vehicle that is or can be powered electrically, which has such an assembly, is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240385421
Abstract: The invention concerns a microscopy method and a microscopy apparatus (100), with an illumination modulator (17) which is configured so as to produce a plurality of points of illumination (8, 11) during a scan of a light strip (3) of the illuminating light (27a) with an illumination modulator (17a), the points being in the form of an asymmetrical 2D Bravais lattice (G4, G5, G6) with a first, longer primitive vector (a) and a second, shorter primitive vector (b) and wherein the projection of the first primitive vector (a) onto the axial direction (3a) of the light strip (3) is longer than the projection of the second primitive vector (b) onto the axial direction (3a) of the light strip (3). In combination with a ROI of a detector synchronised to the illumination line, a more rapid confocal acquisition method is obtained with a better signal-to-noise ratio.

  • Patent number: 11739798
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a claw coupling for interlockingly connecting a first rotatable component to a second rotatable component, wherein a sliding sleeve is non-rotatably and axially slidably arranged on the first rotatable component and a coupling body is non-rotatably arranged on the second rotatable component, the sliding sleeve being axially movable for interlocking connection to the coupling body in order to connect the first component to the second component, at least one spring-loaded shifting ring being movably mounted, non-rotatably and axially relative to the sliding sleeve, on the sliding sleeve, and a damping chamber, formed in dependence on the relative motion, is provided in order to delay the axial motion. The disclosure further relates to an electrical drive axle of a vehicle having at least the claw coupling. In addition, the disclosure relates to a method for interlockingly connecting the first rotatable component to the second rotatable component via a claw coupling.

  • Publication number: 20220378006
Abstract: A press cover, which corresponds with a cheese mould, in particular a cheese mould which is arranged in a cassette press or suchlike. It is to be of simple construction, to withstand a pressing force and also to meet high hygiene requirements. The press cover has a one-walled perforated plate in the form of a perforated sheet, which is provided with perforations, and which has a straight rim or a circumferential, bent rim.

  • Publication number: 20220201948
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for clearing stumps, which uses a slow cutting element (3), which cutting element is guided by great force, however, in order to coarsely machine a root, but can be operated by a single person. According to the invention, this made possible by two suitable cutting elements (3) being guided against each other or a suitable cutting element is guided against a suitable retaining element, such that the applied forces approximately cancel each other out. The cutting elements (3) are located at a front end of two plier jaws (1), which are guided against each other by a drive element.

  • Publication number: 20210190797
Abstract: A method diagnoses a SARS-CoV-2 infection and includes detecting the presence or absence of an antibody to SEQ ID NO: 1, preferably IgA class antibody, in a sample from a subject. A method differentially diagnoses a coronavirus infection. An antibody to SEQ ID NO: 1, preferably IgA class antibody, is used for diagnosing a SARS-CoV-2 infection or for the differential diagnosis of a coronavirus infection, preferably for distinguishing between a SARS-CoV-2, MERS and NL63, 229E, OC43 and HKU1 infection. A kit includes a polypeptide comprising SEQ ID NO: 1 or a variant thereof, preferably coated to a diagnostically useful carrier and one or more of the following reagents: an antibody to SEQ ID NO: 1, a washing buffer, a means for detecting the presence of an antibody, preferably IgA class antibody, preferably a secondary antibody binding specifically to IgA class antibodies, preferably comprising a detectable label, and a dilution buffer.
