  • Patent number: 9287024
Abstract: The invention provides an aerial lift bucket insert having a raised step. The bucket insert is comprised of a pan, the pan having a raised rim wall that includes a handle and a raised step. The raised step has an area beneath the raised step that is sufficient to accommodate a worker's boot. The bottom of the pan and the top of the step are provided with scuff pads. In other embodiments, there can be a plurality of raised steps one atop the other or in opposing corners. The raised formed step is 9 inches high, has a depth of 5.5 inches and the distance between the bottom of the raised formed step and the pan is 5 inches. A cutout handle in the wall facilitates cleaning of the insert.

  • Publication number: 20110047819
Abstract: A system of two different styrenic thermoplastic elastomers is disclosed. One styrenic thermoplastic elastomer is vinyl-isoprene styrene-isoprene-styrene which is known for its shock-damping properties. The other styrenic thermoplastic elastomer is oil absorbing and known for softness on the Shore A hardness scale. The system includes plasticizer oil. The system can be molded into articles that can provide dissipation of impact energy, for shock absorbing elastomeric uses, such as seals, closures, shoe insoles, and other goods.

  • Patent number: 4975703
Abstract: A short range, high resolution, radar system of particular use in training radar operators. The system transmits very short pulses of a radio-frequency (RF) signal at a very high pulse repetition frequency, PRF.sub.o. A signal pre-processor samples a received baseband radar signal and generates a time-expanded signal which is a replica of the real received radar signal, but with a much lower nominal pulse repetition frequency, PRF.sub.n. The signal pre-processor includes a sampling circuit which receives the baseband signal, and a timing circuit which controls the sampling circuit. The timing circuit operates by causing samples of the baseband signal to be taken at progressively later portions of subsequent pulses. While the radar system is particularly useful in demonstrating radar principles in a classroom setting, it has other applications.
