Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device and an intelligent document format for producing and processing publication documents, preferably in a telecontrolled manner. A graphically unstructured document pattern is analyzed according to logical components which can be parameterized and optionally replaced by substitution elements. The course of manufacture of classic publication production can thus be tremendously simplified and made more cost-effective.
