As a result of the resilient actuation of the eccentric roll, the user feels rising resistance, whereby haptic feedback is also provided. A closure element provided with such a slide plate additionally has a greater tolerance for profiled sections to be attached to each other.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a cube-shaped profile element provided with more than six identical side surfaces, wherein preferably eight slots are arranged at an angle of 45 degrees to each other around an axis of symmetry of the side surface and wherein a central boring is provided. Through the slots behind the side surface, insertable closing elements can be inserted through the slots behind the side surface. The profile element is preferably hollow and is constructed from six identical plates that form side surfaces. All the plates are provided with eight-cornered edges, whereby the plates are connected via one edge and the other edges each form an opening at the corners of the cube-shaped profile elements. Very modular, stable construction systems are produced using these elements and cross-shaped profile strips having an acceptable appearance when connected with clamp profiles, wherein these elements each form an optically acceptable closure at the edges of the skeleton structure.

The closing bushing (7) is designed for the form-fitting reception of the clamping device (2) body through a recess (16), and comprises a bore in which the adjustment knob (6) can be received. The surface oriented in the introduction direction (12) of the clamping device (2) in the closing bushing (7) is larger than the corresponding surface of the adjustment knob (6). A clamping device provided with such a closing bushing (7) exhibits a greater resistance to the traction forces applied in the direction of the arrow (12). Clamping devices (2) of the above-mentioned type can also be used for profiled parts (1) made of materials different from the traditional ones, such as wooden parts.

When the eccentric head (4) is rotated, the eccentric roller (22) presses against the inner wall (30) of a recess (12) in the slide (7) in order to move the latter into the insert core (2) into a position which enables the projection to exert the aforementioned clamping pressure.

The T-shaped head (8) of the retaining pin (7) engages behind a longitudinal groove (16) of the other profile section part. By means of a screw (12), which is eccentrically supported and engages in a conical recess (10) of the retaining pin (7), the retaining pin is drawn axially inwards in order to fix the two profile section parts (1, 2) to one another. For the purpose of simple assembly and to prevent the retaining pin from jumping out if the screw is rotated in the wrong direction, the retaining pin (7) has a snap-in connection to the insertion core.
