  • Publication number: 20230356563
Abstract: A method for the thermal pre-conditioning of a vehicle having an electric drive unit and an electrical energy reservoir. The method includes at least the following step: the thermal pre-conditioning of a component of the vehicle while the electrical energy reservoir of the vehicle is connected to the external electrical energy supply.

  • Patent number: 11761849
Abstract: A wind tunnel for a motor vehicle, with a fan, a test section, through which an air stream generated by the fan can flow, a recording device for recording different motor vehicles within the test section, and a testing device for determining aerodynamic characteristics of the motor vehicle. The wind tunnel also includes an optical sensing device for sensing an outer contour of the motor vehicle recorded by the recording device, an evaluating unit and a linking unit. The evaluating unit determines a vehicle configuration from the outer contour of the motor vehicle sensed by the optical sensing device. The linking unit links the vehicle configuration of the motor vehicle determined by the evaluating unit with the test results determined by the testing device.

  • Publication number: 20230268577
Abstract: A motor vehicle having a traction battery accommodated in a motor vehicle body. The traction battery is configured for an electric drive. A cooling system is provided for cooling the electric drive. An underbody element of an underbody of the vehicle body includes a passage opening, which can be opened or closed with the aid of a closing element. The underbody element is provided for the purpose of cooling the traction battery.

  • Publication number: 20200369152
Abstract: A digital cockpit display (1) for a vehicle has a display device (2) with electronic display elements (3a-3n) arranged in the form of a matrix and by means of which information can be visualized. A control device (4) enables control of the display elements (3a-3n) to visualize the information. The display device (2) has micro-electromechanical actuators (5a-5n) that are connected to the display elements (3a-3n) and are selectively controllable by the control device (4) so that they initiate a linear movement of the display elements (3a-3n) between a retracted position in which a longitudinal extension of the microelectronic actuators (5a-5n) is minimal and a fully extended position in which the longitudinal extension of the microelectronic actuators (5a-5n) is maximal.
