  • Patent number: 11883885
Abstract: A retention chuck for glass pipes for machines producing glass containers is provided. The retention chuck has a central supply channel for the glass pipes, a plurality of adjustable clamping jaws arranged at the lower end of the supply channel and so as to be distributed around a centerline of the channel. The spacing of the jaws from the center line of the supply channel is adjustable by an actuation element. A coupling element couples the jaws to the actuation element. Guides guide the adjustment movement of the clamping jaws perpendicularly, radially inwardly relative to the center line.

  • Patent number: 11713269
Abstract: A hot-forming device is provided for producing glass containers from a glass tube. The device includes a rotary table mounted so as to be rotationally movable and an assigned drive motor for driving the rotary table. The rotary table includes several holding chucks for holding workpieces distributed around the circumference of the rotary table. The rotary table has a coolant channel that is fluid-tight and through which a coolant can flow to cool.

  • Patent number: 10844924
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a tube catcher for a hot forming machine comprising a foot for mounting the tube catcher in the hot forming machine, an upper contact surface for catching a glass tube as it falls into the hot forming machine, and a damping element, which is arranged below the upper contact surface in such a way that it allows the upper contact surface to elastically recede in the direction of the falling direction of the glass tube. This minimizes damage to glass tubes on impact and permits a high production speed. For this purpose, the damping element includes a compressible chamber that can be filled with a gas.

  • Publication number: 20200354257
Abstract: A positioning device for a preloading ring of a hot forming machine is provided. The device has a first holding element and a second holding element. The first holding element has a first recess and a second recess. The second recess is at a distance radially with respect the first recess. The second holding element is arranged in a region of and faces the first and second recess. The first and second holding elements are configured and arranged movably about respective axes with respect to each other so that movement towards each other encloses a glass tube in each of the first and second recesses and between the holding elements.

  • Patent number: 7520506
Abstract: A layer press (10) for compressing sheet-like articles (12) arranged in a stack (14). The press has an accommodating chamber (18) for accommodating the sheet-like articles (12) and also a pressing arrangement (34) with a contact pressure lever (42) which can be pivoted about a rotary spindle (44) and on which is arranged a contact pressure body (31) with a contact pressure element (32). In a standby position (BS), the contact pressure lever (42) is pivoted into the accommodating chamber so that the contact pressure element (32) engages the uppermost article in the stack, and for pressing purposes, the spacing between a base (20) of the accommodating chamber (18) and the contact pressure element (32) located in the standby position (BS) is reduced.
